Architect Level I

Job Description:
We are actively seeking a full-time, Architect Level I with three to five years of experience, preferably licensed and experienced in the healthcare sector. Applicants should have an innovative mindset, while being willing to take on challenging project opportunities. The successful candidate should be able to work well with multiple project teams, communicate effectively, present design concepts, be familiar with current materials and construction methods, and be committed to professional growth.
Job Responsibilities:
• Performs analysis of design, planning and occupancy studies, and limited design layouts
• Provide architectural coordination of projects
• Participates in the conceptual design and provides full support through the entire project
• Prepares project specifications and writes reports
• Understands budget, code, and jurisdictional requirements
• Participates in onsite Construction Administration tasks, including field observation
Applicant Requirements:
• 3-5 years of experience in similarly complex projects, healthcare preferred
• Degree in Architecture or related field preferred
• Independently performs a variety of assignments requiring skills in all conventional aspects of architectural design for projects of moderate size and complexity
• Strong communication and collaborative ability
• Excellent writing skills
• Ability to hold themselves accountable for quality performance
• Strong commitment to teamwork and leadership
• Confident demeanor and positive attitude
• Ability to prioritize and deliver multiple projects with varying deadlines
• Self-motivated and willing to take initiative
• Good personal integrity
• Good problem-solving skills
