Corporate Marketing Specialist

Job Description:
O’Connell Robertson is a mission-driven architecture, engineering and interior design firm committed to the success of our clients, our team and the communities we serve. We are looking for a talented individual with the skills, dedication, creativity and positive attitude to help lead and elevate our marketing and communications efforts. This position is based in Austin but will also support our San Antonio and Houston offices. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Corporate Marketing Specialist will be part of a collaborative team that works together to achieve the firm’s priorities and marketing goals.
Job Responsibilities:
RFQs and Proposals are a primary focus of this role. The Corporate Marketing Specialist will take ownership of the proposal development and production process. This includes:
• Track leads and pursuits
• Coordinate the G/N-G discussion
• Create proposal plan/outline
• Facilitate kick-off calls
• Lead assignments and coordinating the information to meet submission deadlines
• Communicate and coordinate with consultants
• Manage the development and completion of proposals
• Provide best practices for quality review, production and proposal close-out

Communications and PR responsibilities include:
• Develop and produce communications and marketing materials within corporate standards in written and presentation format to meet marketing goals and objectives
• Support design, layout, and production of communications and marketing materials to meet marketing goals and objectives – including content development, graphics, qualifications and presentation materials, brochures, award entries, and advertisements
• Engage in the strategic development of and manage the Firm’s online and social presence including the website, Linked In, and other potential platforms
• Participate in monthly marketing team meetings and other applicable business development meetings
• Develop, strengthen, and champion the Firm’s brand and brand standards
• Coordinate and participate in development of materials for tradeshows and conventions
• Help plan events in support of client engagement
Applicant Requirements:
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
• 5/+ years in marketing and proposal development experience (preferably for A/E/C prime firm)
• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field
• Strong communication
• Ability to work independently and multi-task
• Flexibility to manage time and shift priorities as needed
• Exemplary attention to detail and quality
• Strategic and critical thinking
• Proficiency in InDesign (knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office preferable)
