Job Description: The Business Development Manager will serve DBR Firm-wide by developing new leads, planning persuasive approaches and pitches, and outlining actionable targets to chart progress. They will spend balanced portions of time inside the firm managing the business development efforts of seller-doers and outside the firm developing and maintaining a strong business network. The BD manager will advise the firm’s market sector leaders regarding strategies for winning and maintaining clients. They will use of the firm’s CRM platform to track leads and activities. They will represent the firm to clients, peer organizations, and business associates. The BD Manager will supervise at least one Business Development Coordinator, who will assist primarily with in-house efforts. Firm-wide business development efforts will require periodic travel to several cities in the State of Texas where DBR is actively pursuing work.
